Welcome to Quiddity Theatre.
Quiddity Theatre is a collaboration between Hilary Elliott and John Britton.
We’ve done many forms of work since 1993 - physical performance, dance theatre, text, storytelling, even radio. Nowadays we focus on improvised performances and on running training workshops.
We’d love you to explore our history, ideas and current work through the various pages of this website.

Over the summer John will be creating a piece of Ensemble with his new company, ‘Duende’. Details here
In the Autumn Quiddity will be performing a number of improvisations, including in Huddersfield (October 6th & 7th) and in Stockholm (November 20th & 21st). There may be a few more as well. If there are, details will be posted here.
