Both John and Hilary are on the staff of the Drama Department at Huddersfield University, so most of our work at the moment is based round teaching and research, leaving not a lot of time for other performance work. Nonetheless there are a few things going on.

In March 08 we are visiting Mexico City to work with Nicolas Nunez at the National University of Mexico. Along with Deborah Middleton and Tim Moss we will be running a week long workshop in "Creativity through Writing and Improvisation".

Also while we are there, we will perform 'Spontaneous Combustion #30'.

After that John will attend and teach at a short conference run by IUGTE in Slovenia.

We are continuing to work with Andrew Morrish - he visits huddersfield quite regularly and we are hoping to do another intensive improvisation development project with him soon.

In June John will run the MA Ensemble Physical Theatre: Training & Performance for the second year. The degree is an exploration of the practicalities and theory behind performance training, working throuigh fixed and through improvised training processes.It has recruited very well this year. It will be a fantastic chance to develop the work on psychophysical performance training and take it on to another level.
